SearchEngineRoundtable reported a while ago that Google is currently testing Rich Snippets on Desktops for Events.

Structured Data for Events normally show Rich Snippets on mobile search results only. But it totally makes sense to show them on Desktop as well. Events on search results have been launched last year. So it’s definitely time for Google to show them on Desktop, too! 😉
